During this weekend it has been disputed in Hawaii on Ultraman World Championship, where we had the presence of three Spaniards, Marc Puig, Josef Arjam y Juan Luis Quero Guerrero .

An Ultraman consists of completer 515 kilometers in 3 days of competition, where each participant will complete 10 km of swimming in the ocean, 421 km of cycling and 84 km of running on foot with a double marathon on the last day of the race.

The competition is distributed as follows

  • 1º day: 10 km of swimming + 145 km of cycling
  • 2º day: 276 km of cycling
  • 3º day: 84 km of running race

Marc Puig has been very consistent, while Josef Ajram has returned to the competition finishing in a great fifth position with his best double marathon mark, Juan Luis Quero Guerrero It has been finisher finishing in the 14º position.

The global victory has been for Jordan Bryden winning the first day being third in the second and third in the final stage of the double marathon with an overall time of 23: 24: 46.

In the female category the victory has been for the favorite Tara Norton , winning all stages, with an end time of 28: 22: 09 followed by Conny Dauben (28: 30: 02)

Josef Arjam after 10 years enters the top 5 with his best brand in double marathon

For his part, Josef Arjam, who returned to the competition after 10 years, was ninth on the first day, sixth on the second and in the double marathon he was also sixth, achieving his best mark in this distance, after having even had to go walking in the first part of the race. what has earned him to enter the final top 5
