Madrid-Gijón-Madrid bicycle tour, the longest in Spain

Everything is ready for the celebration of the 3º edition of the longest cycling race in Spain. the Madrid-Gijón-Madrid, where cyclists will have to travel 1200 km in a maximum time of 90 hours.

Today, August 19 at 22:00 the starting gun will be given in the Madrileña locality of Algete where the 270 participants will have to face this tough cycling event. They leave as favorites for this edition Julián Sanz, Fran Vacas y Javier Iriberri among others.

The March Madrid-Gijón-Madrid is not available to everyone, because to participate you have to have more than 18 years and get some of the qualifying briefs on the distances of 200, 300, 400 and 600 meters throughout the 2013 year.
