Mario Mola will be at the European Duathlon Championships this Saturday
Mario Mola will compete again in a duathlon Word Triathlon event this Saturday in Coimbra, Portugal.
Mola will compete in the Duathlon European Championship with his sights set on achieving another title in his impressive career. Last year she won the world title in the specialty in Ibiza.
This year, Mola has continued to demonstrate his ability to compete at the highest level in multiple disciplines and wants to add a new title to his record.
In November, he finished in 20th place in the Atapuerca International Cross and 8th in San Sebastián. In January, he achieved 10th place in the Elgoibar International Cross Country and 13th in the Getafe Spanish Championship. Additionally, in February, he completed the 10K at the Gimnástica de Ulía in 28:58, taking 7th place.
In March, Mola debuted in the Lisbon half marathon with the hope of meeting the minimum required by the RFEA for the European Championship in Rome.
Despite a time of 1:05:42, he failed to reach the 1:03:15 mark, finishing in 27th place.
Saturday, Mario Mola will compete in the European Duathlon Championship, which will take place in Coimbra over a sprint distance (5 km running, 20 km in bike and 2,5 km of running).
This competition is part of the Multisport Event and will bring together some of the best athletes in Europe. Next to Mola, the Spanish will be Javier Martín y Miguel Angel Capo. In the elite women's category, María Varo It will be the Spanish representative.
