Marlins Triathlon Madrid wins the Spanish Duathlon Mixed Relay Championship in Valladolid

The Spanish Duathlon Championships for Mixed Relays and by Mixed Talent Relay closed the double day of the National League of Duathlon Clubs, organized by the Spanish Triathlon Federation, held in Valladolid.

The women's and men's leagues will conclude in Alcobendas in fifteen days with the national Duathlon Team and Relay Championships, and the general classifications that will be updated in the last few days remain open with several options for the podium.

Marlins Triathlon Madrid imposed the strength of a luxury quartet for the Duathlon with Nico Regidor, Marion Legrand, Javi Martín and Marta García.

Especially from the second post, with Legrand, they gained distance from the pursuers, which allowed García to cross the finish line in first position. Marlins won with a time of 1:20:02.

Barely nine seconds later, Marta Cabello entered the finish line, closing the relay of Imps from Rivas who got the silver and after considerably reducing the difference with Marlins.

The Diablillos relay also featured Iván Gil, Sandra Schenkel and Guillermo Cuchillo.

Third position went to soriano triathlon, climbing positions and culminating Marina Muñoz the work that Miguel Risco, Jessica Guerrero and Daniel Hernando had previously done.

First thing in the morning, the Spanish Duathlon Championship for Mixed Talent Relay was held, reserved for the cadet and youth categories, and the first day of the League dedicated to these lower categories.

Imps from Rivas He got the title with a time of 1:24:39. The silver medal went to the local team E-Triathlon Valladolid, less than two minutes, and in the third position was classified the Montilla Cordoba Triathlon.

Open category

The Open categories were also played in both Spanish championships. In the absolute Open Mixed Relay the Triathlon San Sebastian de los Reyes was proclaimed the winner with a time of 1:28:17, ahead of E-Triathlon Valladolid y AD Seville.

 The Open de Talentos Mixed Relay was for the Villa de Valdemoro Triathlon Club, with a time of 1:32:04, followed by another team from the Valladolid E-Triathlon, and Al Fanadic Triathlon. José Hidalgo, president of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, presented the medals and trophies to the teams on the podium.
