Marta Sánchez, ready to retain her title at IRONMAN South Africa

From Kenya to competition: Marta's formula

The Spaniard is looking to improve her results in the T100 after rubbing shoulders with the elite in Miami and San Francisco last season, when she was still a wild card. This season she has contract with the PTO.

In South Africa, Marta Sanchez will face triathletes like the Danish Maja Stage Nielsen (silver at the 2024 IRONMAN Hamburg European Championship), the Dutch Els Visser, the South African Magda Nieuwoudt and the British Ruth Astle.

They all aspire to the same prize: glory in one of the most emblematic tests of the calendar and a pass to the 2025 IRONMAN World Championship in Kona.
