This Sunday, May 5, the eighth edition of the Trixilxes without drafting, a test that has gained great popularity in the Spanish triathlete scene due to its demanding course and its format without drafting, where participants cannot benefit from the aerodynamic wake of their rivals.
More than 500 triathletes gathered in the Valencian town of Xilxes to tackle the distances of 1.500 meters of swimming, 60 kilometers of cycling and 15 kilometers of running.

From the beginning of the test, the Valencian took control of the swimming race, where she left the water alone with a considerable advantage over her rivals.
In the cycling segment, Sánchez maintained his constant pace and expanded his advantage over Judith Corachán, who placed second. Behind her, Laura Gómez completed the provisional podium.

In swimming, Montiel came out of the water alongside Guillem Rojas and Luis Velasquez. However, in the first kilometers of the cycling segment, Montiel set a strong pace and pulled away from his rivals.
In cycling, Montiel extended his advantage and reached the second transition with a difference of 45 seconds over Rojas. Fernando Zorrilla, who had lost time in swimming, was in third position.
