More than 3.000 triathletes gathered at Le Tour Genéve Triathlon this weekend

Spain one of the three most represented countries

Le Tour Geneve Triathlon  is one of most popular triathlons in Europe, where this year the Spaniards have been the third country with more representation of the test

From triathletes who start in this discipline, with a total of 38% participation, to experienced triathletes who participated in the HALF distance, Geneva hosted another event this year where its international character was highlighted

A very attractive event that once again gave its participants the opportunity to swim in the crystal clear waters of Lake Leman, complete the bike circuit in a closed segment to traffic, ending the triathlon in a spectacular and lively race on the edge of Lake Geneva in the same city of Geneva

With several distances to choose from Super Sprint  where a total of 404 triathletes participated, many of them triathlon debutants, until Half with 940 participants where I highlight the presence of Thomas Huwiler (03h53m39) being 4 times the winner of the test, in an event that lasted two days, where Spain was one of the three most represented countries together with Switzerland and France

The most popular format was Short distance, that exhausted its available numbers weeks before the test and that counted on the distances of 500 meters of swimming, 17 km in bike to finalize with 5 km of race on foot.

The weekend also had room for the little ones, as well as for fans of the "Swim Run" with an Aquathlon test.
