El Half Madrid, one of the most anticipated competitions of the calendar national middle distance triathlon, will be held next June 16th, 2024 in the surroundings of Lake Casa de Campo.
This event, organized by Laetus Sport, offers the possibility of participating in both the HALF WITHOUT DRAFTING and the STANDARD WITH DRAFTING modality, it promises to be a meeting point for triathlon enthusiasts.
Distances
The Half Madrid will have two main tests:
HALF WITHOUT DRAFTING:
- Swimming: 1.800 meters in Casa de Campo Lake.
- Cycling: 83 km in a single lap.
- Race on foot: 18,6 km around the lake, passing through Huerta de la Partida and Madrid Río, ending next to the transition zone.
STANDARD WITH DRAFTING:
- Swimming: 1.500 meters in Casa de Campo Lake.
- Cycling: 40 km in a single lap.
- Race on foot: 10 km in the same scenarios as the HALF test.
Program and activities
On Saturday, June 15, the optional delivery of bibs and the deposit of Bike in the transition area.
On Sunday, June 16, the day will begin early with the opening of the secretariat for the delivery of numbers and access to the transition area.
The test departures are scheduled for 8:00 a.m. (STANDARD) and 8:45 a.m. (HALF).
Services for participants
The organizers have prepared a series of services to guarantee an optimal experience for all triathletes, including:
- Chip timing.

- Parking.
- Changing rooms and toilets.
- Final refreshment with pasta and drink.
Awards and trophies
Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in both modalities, as well as to clubs and age groups.
In the HALF modality, there will be cash prizes for the first five overall finishers with a first prize of €500.

The registration process, open until June 12, is limited to 800 participants in total for both modalities.
Prices vary between €180 and €190 for the HALF modality and between €80 and €90 for the STANDARD modality.
