Less than two months for the MD Salamanca Triathlon
The test has more than 600 registered today
The next 30 June 2019, will be held in the capital Salmantina a new edition of the Medium distance triathlon from the city. This year will also host the LD Spain Championship, Aquabike and a test in Olympic distance , where the inscriptions have already been used up.
El Salamanca Triathlon, Is one of the most beautiful tests of the national calendar since it is disputed in a city, where its historic center is World Heritage Site from 1988 and known for its great university atmosphere and gastronomy what makes it an ideal destination to schedule a weekend trip, joining sports and tourism.
The test will pass through places as emblematic as the Roman bridge, statue to Lazarillo de Tormes, Automotive Museum, la Church of Santiago or Art Nouveau Museum
This year will host the Spain LD Championship where the triathletes will have to face 3.000 meters of swimming, 120 km of cycling to finish with 31,4 km of race on foot through the city of Salamanca.
Another interesting and little-known test is the Aquabike, which little by little is interesting to the triathletes. This test consists of completing 3 km of swimming to continue with 120 of km of cycling to leave the bike in the T2 and do a sprint already running to the finish line.
The test of middle distance, will have the usual distances in this competition: 1.500 meters of swimming, 80 kilometers of cycling and 20,96 kilometers of running
The distance Olympic, whose quota is already full, will have the format of 1.500 meters of swimming, 40 kilometers of cycling and 10,48 kilometers of running.
