Less than a month until the Villa de Madrid Duathlon

The next Sunday April 13th 2025, Madrid will once again be the protagonist of the national duathlon with the celebration of a new edition of the Duathlon Villa of Madrid, key event in the calendar sports center that will also host the Madrid Standard Distance Championship (10-40-5).

Plaza de Colón, the epicenter of the competition

The central area of ​​the event will be located in the emblematic Colon Square.

From here, participants will begin an attractive and demanding route, especially in the cycling section, which will run entirely through the Paseo de la Castellana, one of the favorite venues for duathletes due to its fast and attractive route.

Two modalities for all levels

The competition will have two modalities:

• Sprint Distance (5 km run, 20,8 km cycling, 2,5 km run): Open to both federated and non-federated athletes from the Youth category, allowing participation individually or in relays, where each member will complete a segment of the test.
• Standard distance or Duathlon (10 km running, 41,4 km cycling, 5 km running): Exclusively for federated athletes from the Junior category onwards, this test is also the Championship of Madrid of the modality.

the participants of the Championship of Madrid They will have to compete compulsorily with Bike road, the use of gravel bikes with studded or mountain tires is prohibited.

Trophies and recognitions

The top three men's and women's finishers in both events will receive trophies, while medals will be awarded to the top finishers in the age categories and relays.

In the modality of the Championship of Madrid, there will also be specific trophies and medals for individual, team, and age group classifications.
