Less than a month for Triathlon MD Salamanca and the LD Spain Championship
Today they are already enrolled in the test near 1.000 participants
About a thousand participants will take part in the competitions of the Triathlon MD of Salamanca The next 30 in June will be played. In this test will also be held the Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship of the Spanish Triathlon Federation.
The program of the event includes an open test aquabike, and Olympic triathlon, medium distance triathlon and Spanish Triathlon LD Championship.
In total there will be almost a thousand athletes, with more than three hundred contesting the main title and the medals of official age groups in long distance, which will start at 9 h.
Yonatan Martín, head of the organization, advances that "the water will present good temperatures and the area has been prepared to look for the best comfort for the athletes, with water from under the bridge, in an environment from which you can enjoy magnificent views of the Cathedral or the Roman Bridge itself".
The transition will be located on Avenida Paseo del Progreso in Salamanca, where the main competition area will also be located with the goal and services for athletes.
The cyclist segment will be held in one lap for Olympic distance, two for distance half and three for long distance, on the road from Salamanca to Matilla de los Caños. After a slight initial climb out of the city of about seven kilometers, at the end of which will be located the first provisioning, "the rest of the route has a flat profile very favorable to roll," says Yonatan Martin emphasizing that "the road is over of asphalt and will be in excellent conditions so that athletes can enjoy the segment. "
The final foot race "is flat and fast" in one, two or three laps depending on the distance of the race to be played, and will pass "by the bike lane on the banks of the River Tormes, in a very pleasant natural environment" .
The Spanish LD Triathlon Championship is also the fourth round of the LD and MD Triathlon Cup of Spain, which includes the Seville, Guadalajara, La Rioja and Mequinenza competitions, as well as the LD nationals in Salamanca and MD in Ibiza
The registration process is still open and the next June 16d will be closed
