More than 1.000 registered in the MTRI Alicante

Mediterranean Triathlon officially kicks off next weekend at Alicante, the first test of the circuit, which this year also includes the School Aquathlon of Sports Games, a scoring test for the Autonomous Phase. Children, cadets and youth will start on Saturday at 12.00:XNUMX.

In the absence of the closure of registrations for the school aquathlon, there are already 250 registered school triathletes, who will enjoy the weekend in the same way.

More than 1.000 triathletes in this edition

Meanwhile, after the cclosed on May 2 of the competition, The test will have this year with 1.040 triathletes of all categories who will participate in distance supersprint, sprint, Olympic y sprint y supersprint couples (both members completing the test together from start to finish).

The competition features a 10% increase compared to 2022, being 26.5% women.

The Mediterranean Triathlon circuit offers the possibility of getting started in the discipline of triathlon to all kinds of audiences, whether or not they are new to triathlon, or are interested in overcoming new distances in the sport.

It will be possible to follow live

This year the test can be followed live thanks to the application of the Triathlon Federation of the Valencian Community, TRICV Live, which allows you to know exactly the times of passage, mark favorite triathletes and know the classifications up to the minute.

The test will go through a unique environment of Alicante, starting from the Playa del Postiguet in which the transition will be located, going through the streets on a bicycle going up to the Santa Barbara Castle, in the case of the Olympic distance, and finishing the race on foot for the gomiz promenade, with ascent to the elevated bridge that will lead the triathlete to the finish line of MTRI Alicante, in the historic center of the competition, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

€3000 in Austral prizes for the final podium

MTRI Alicante begins the classifications of the final circuit, to which all participants opt, in all distances, including couples, and which this year has a novelty from the hand of Austral.

The podium for the clubs with the highest number of entries in the total sum of the 3 events, will mean a check for €1000, €600 and €300, respectively, in Austral products.

So that the club will be able to choose from a wide catalog of specific triathlon products, from a reference brand in our country in the sport of triathlon. Official brand of the Spanish team and that dresses a large number of Spanish clubs.
