MTRI Valencia: the test advances dates due to the PTO
El Mediterranean Triathlon València (MTRI València) confirms a change in its calendar for this season.
Due to the presence of a PTO test (Professional Triathletes Organization) in the city, it has been decided to move the competition to the weekend of May 30 to June 1, instead of the original date planned for later.
This is a T100 event that is gaining more and more followers, both nationally and internationally.
The return to the beach Mauve-rose
The stage is once again the Mauve-pink beach, one of the most popular spots for triathletes from all over the country.
During the previous edition, MTRI Valencia managed to attract nearly 2.000 athletes, confirming its reputation as one of the benchmark events in the Valencian Community.
This year will be no different: a great atmosphere is expected with music, food trucks and a lively crowd touring the seafront area, the Cabanyal neighbourhood and surrounding areas.
Alliance between CT A CORRE-CUITA and Federació TRICV
El CT TO CORRE-CUITA, with a tradition in the organization of the Platja Malva-rosa Triathlon, joins forces with the TRICV Federation to further boost popular participation.
In line with previous editions of MTRI, the aim is to open the door to triathletes of different ages, with distances supersprint, sprint and olympic availables.
Likewise, the possibility of competing in pairs and individually is maintained, giving room to federated and non-federated athletes, both from the Valencian Community and from any other region.
A weekend for the whole family
The race will start on the afternoon of Friday, May 30, with the opening of the EXPO and the distribution of race numbers.
On Saturday morning the supersprint and sprint tests will be held, while in the afternoon the family duathlon, a fun experience for boys and girls born between 2012 and 2020.
On Sunday, it will be the turn of the standard (or Olympic) distance, with the awards ceremony at midday. This format aims to ensure that participants and their companions enjoy a weekend full of sport and unforgettable moments.
Registration and MTRI Pack
Registrations will open next Thursday, March 13 at 17:00 p.m., simultaneously for all venues: Alicante (17-18 May), Valencia (30 May-1 June) and Castellón (5-6 July).
During the first 48 hours there will be very special prices for those who have already participated in previous editions of MTRI.
You can choose between competing individually in each city or signing up for the MTRI Pack, which includes all three tests at a reduced price and an exclusive gift courtesy of 42K. In addition, NutriSport remains a collaborator to supply supplies and runners' bags.
