The new Ribadeo Half Triathlon is born
The test will have 2 distances, Half and Short
A new test lands in Galicia, on May 15, the Half of Ribadeo premieres standing out for its incredible surroundings, with circuits that will not leave runners indifferent.
The swimming will take place in the Ribadeo estuary, on the border between Asturias and Galicia.
It will take place on the beach of the blocks, inside the estuary, so it will not be exposed to the different situations that may occur in the Cantabrian Sea.
Cycling, after a few kilometers parallel to the estuary, enters spectacular landscapes between Trabada and Barreiros, to return to Ribadeo with the second transition in Plaza de España, next to the town hall.
There the race on foot will begin in a unique setting, the coastal walk to Pancha Island and its lighthouse, passing through the San Damián fort, leaving an unbeatable memory to the participants.
The event, with multiple tourist attractions such as Las Catedrales beach or the towns of Mariña Lucense, was created with the aim of being a family event that makes the entire environment of Ribadeo known.
2 distances and scoring for the MD and LD Spanish Cup
Two distances will be played, Half y Shorts, and it will be proof scoring for the Spanish Cup medium and long distance.
Registration will open on February 10
