Náutico de Narón and the University of Alicante win the Iberdrola Queen's Cup of Triathlon and the King's Cup in Águilas

Águilas witnessed an exciting day of triathlon in which the Náutico de Narón won the Iberdrola Queen's Cup and the University of Alicante won the Copa del Rey.

More than three thousand athletes gathered in the Murcian town to participate in this event that combines competition and passion for sport.

Náutico de Narón, new champion of the Iberdrola Queen's Cup

The Náutico de Narón women's team took the title from Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, setting a time of 1:02:56.

The Alzaga sisters, Iratxe Arenal, Andrea Trigo, Lucía Piñón and Sara Guerrero demonstrated their strength and strategy, beating Cidade de Lugo Fluvial by just 14 seconds.

Stadium Casablanca Mapei completed the podium with a time of 1:05:54. In the Open category, Diablillos de Rivas, Triatlón Murcia Unidata and Albacete RES occupied the first positions.

University of Alicante wins the Copa del Rey

The men's competition was also full of excitement. The University of Alicante was proclaimed champion with a time of 54:34, thanks to the efforts of David Cantero, Izan Edo, Eduardo Blanco, Miguel Guzmán, Eloy Canales and Sergio Moreno.

Peñota Dental Alusigma, champion from the previous year, was less than thirty seconds behind, closely followed by Diablillos de Rivas.

In the men's Open category, CEA Bétera, Diablillos de Rivas and Triatlón Albacete RES stood out on the podium.

Triumphs in the Spanish CRE Talentos Triathlon Championship

The women's Squali Carabanchel Triathlon dominated the Spanish Talent Team Time Trial Triathlon Championship with a time of 19:45.

In the men's category, Cidade de Lugo Fluvial took the victory with a time of 17:11.

Relays and excitement to close the weekend

On Sunday, May 12, the Spanish Relay Triathlon Championships will be held, both in the Open and Elite categories, as well as the Spanish Talent Relay Triathlon Championships.

The day promises emotions and great sporting moments.
