News for the Andorra Winter Triathlon World Championship

Andorra is ready to receive the participants of the Winter Triathlon World Championship and for the debut of the World Winter Duathlon Championships.

The Adventure Park Naturlandia, near the town of Sant Julià de Lòria, it will be the perfect setting for more than 200 athletes from all over the world to contest the titles.

 In this 24th edition of the Winter Triathlon World Championship, Elite, Sub23 and Junior athletes will have to go through the 8 usual kilometers on snow, 14 km of MTB also on snow and 12 km of cross skiing.

New format with a winter duathlon

Andorra will also see the debut of a new format for Elite athletes, and Age Groups: the World Winter Duathlon Championship, an event consisting of running and skiing.

The Elite and Under23 athletes will do three race laps of 1.35km each and two ski laps of 3.1km each.

Andorra organizes this 24th edition of the Winter Triathlon World Championships, an event that was contested for the first time in Mals, Italy, in 1997, and has gained more and more popularity since then.

Registration open for the event until January 14.

The event will begin on February 3, 2022 and runs until the 6 of the same month.
