Gustav Iden, the Norwegian who won the World Championship HOMBRE DE HIERRO In Kona in 2022, he is determined to regain his place among the triathlon elite.
After a difficult couple of years, with the death of his mother and an Achilles tendon injury that forced him to retire in 2023, Iden He's back and seems more motivated than ever.
After taking his first win since 2022 at the Challenge Turku in July, and a second place behind his compatriot Kristian Blummenfelt at the Samarkand Challenge in September, Iden prepares for his greatest challenge: competing again in Kona.

Despite the discomfort of this new position, which could take its toll on him during the four-hour cycling stage, Iden He is confident in his ability to endure: “I use very little strength in my abdomen, back and shoulders. All I have to do is stay on the bike.”
