Paco de la Paz and Judith Corachán Champions of Spain LD Triathlon 2024
The Epic Triathlon 2024 in Oropesa del Mar was held today with perfect weather for the competition.
The test, which was held over distances of 3,8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling and 42 km of running, brought together some of the best triathletes in the country.
From the beginning, Guillem Rojas set a pace in the swimming segment, emerging from the water with a considerable advantage over its closest competitors such as Aritz Rodriguez Ramón Ejeda, Ander Irigoyen y Roger Manya.
During the cycling segment, Paco de la Paz, began his comeback. At the end of the first 60 km lap, Rojas He was still in the lead, but with less and less difference from the race leader.
At the end of the second round, Peace He was already the leader with an advantage of 11 seconds over Rojas and 6 minutes about Kristian Quintans.

In the women's category, the absence of the current Spanish champion, Patricia Bueno, due to health problems, left the way clear to have a new Spanish champion this year.
Judith Corachan, the great favorite, He left the water with a lead of more than 6 minutes over Carolina Fernández, second in this segment.
During the cycling segment, Corachán He continued to increase his advantage over his opponents, reaching T2 with more than 25 minutes of advantage.
