Paula Herrero, runner-up in Spain in the 10.000 meters on the track

The ex-triathlete Paula Herrero  of the Vicky Foods Athletics, continues to perform well in high-level athletics.

Just two weeks ago, broke the Spain's record of 10K en route in Laredo and this weekend is over second in the Spanish Championship of 10.000 meters on track held in Burjassot (Valencia).

The Asturian got the silver medal after completing the 10k in 32 minutes and 5 seconds.

The victory was for Isabel Barreiro, who achieved his first national title in the distance with just two seconds ahead of Herrero. Cristina Ruiz he completed the podium with an impressive time of 32'08.

With this second place Paula gets a place for the European Cup of 10.000 meters, which will be held on June 3 in Pacé (France).
