Marta Sánchez and Pello Osoro will be at the IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia

On December 1st, Busselton will host a new edition of the HOMBRE DE HIERRO 70.3 Western Australia and will be the  perfect prologue for many triathletes competing in the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship which will take place in Taupo, New Zealand, in mid-December.

The starting list has been published and we find the Spanish representatives among the participants Pello Osoro y Marta Sanchez, who have spent the last few weeks in intense training in Kenya to prepare for this end of season at the antipodes.

Marta Sánchez, a season full of successes

FOR Marta Sanchez has been competing consistently throughout the year, adding four victories y six podiums in tests of great international relevance.

Following his recent participation in the IRONMAN World Championship in Nice, where he was sixth and his victory in the IRONMAN Calella-Barcelona, Sanchez will look to close the season with a great performance in Busselton and later in the Taupo World Championships.

Marta, who currently occupies the position number 25 from the ranking of the PTO, has already secured his ticket to compete in Kona next year.

Pello Osoro, a challenge in new territory

Pello Osoro, for his part, will debut in the IRONMAN franchise at distance 70. This year he has won the ranking National Medium and Long Distance of the FETRI and now faces this new challenge.

Opponents to watch out for in Western Australia

The IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia will also feature the participation of triathletes such as the Danish Maja Stage Nielsen, Els Visser o  Martha Lagownik among others.

As for the men's category, we will have to take into account  Gregory barnaby ,  Kristian Høgenhaug and Cameron Wurf that runs at home

The Australian has shown to be in great physical shape after his recent participation in the New York City Marathon, where he finished with a time of 2:36:22 hours.
