Do you want to represent Spain in the LD Roth 2021 European Triathlon Championship?

The Spanish Triathlon Federation has eight places for Age Groups in the European Long Distance Triathlon Championship to be held at Roth in 2021.

All the registration to represent Spain in the competition will open on October 1, 2020 for 10 days on the FETRI website,

They will be opened before proceeding to assign them in criteria function rrelated to the results of the Spanish LD Triathlon Championship Salamanca 2019, the individual Ranking of the Spanish MD and LD Triathlon Cup as of December 31, 2019, and the order of registration itself.

The price of participation in the championship is 620 euros non-refundable, and contesting it entails complying with the ITU uniformity regulations, which are available  here.

In case of requesting more places than those available, exceeding the 8 by criterion 1, a draw among registered athletes, respecting 50% of places for women and 50% for men, or failing that, the proportional part.

Registration transfers will not be accepted already made to the Roth organizer directly, being necessary to meet these conditions to qualify for the European Championship place.

The Spanish Triathlon Federation will offer athletes already registered in the Roth open test the possibility of entering the starting list of the European Championship as long as the first criterion is met, having finished the last Spanish Championship played in the modality, which was held in 2019 in Salamanca.
