Pablo Dapena will not be in the LD Spain Championship

The triathlete will not be on the starting line of the Spanish Championship on Saturday as his priority is the European Championship in the Challenge Madrid

As reported by Journal of Pontevedra the Galician triathlete will not participate in the test which is disputed this weekend

Pablo Dapena he will not defend his title of champion of Spain this Saturday in the event that takes place in Pontevedra. The triathlete will not compete at home to arrive at the best possible way to his goal of the final part of the season the Challenge Madrid of the next September 23.

Dapena could not practically rest since his victory in the World championship of long distance the past 14 of July. After that competition, only two weeks later, the Pontevedra participated in the Challenge of Prague. There he saw the faces with his training partner and friend Javi Gómez Noya, who got the victory, while Dapena made a great comeback to get up with the second place.

Pablo continued without rest and the past 12 of August participated in the Challenge of Turku (Finland) where he got the second place that keeps you in front of the ranking tied to points with the Ironman champion Sebastian Kienle.

Therefore, the test held in Madrid at the 23 in September will be key to defining the title of the Challenge Circuit
