IRONMAN St. George World Championship Preview

This Saturday, May 7, the United States will hold the IRONMAN World Championship St. George where it will be the first time the race has been held outside of Hawaii.

The competition will have a spectacular route with hardness and that will surely be marked by the heat,

Favorites

Some of the best triathletes in the specialty will not be in this World Cup due to illness or injury.

They highlight the absence of Jan Frodeno, Patrick Lange, Joe Skipper, Laura Philipp,Lucy Charles-Barclay or Javier Gómez Noya among others, although I am sure that the PROS that are in the test will make the test spectacular.

Male category

All eyes are on the Norwegians as this will be the first time they meet Kristian Blummenfelt with his compatriot Gustav Iden in distance IRONMAN and everything can happen. (The Norwegian Iden will not participate in the test)

We will also have to take into account triathletes such as Lionel Sanders, Sam long, Sebastian Kienle, Alistair Brownlee (Low last minute) or Ben Hoffman among others

Female category

In the women's event, all eyes will be on Anne Haugh, Daniela Ryf  or Heather Jackson.

But we will have to keep a close eye on Jocelyn McCauley, Laura Siddall, Katrina Matthews or the Spanish Gurutze Frades which is our only representative in the competition.
