The preview of the T100 San Francisco

El T100 San Francisco sThe Escape from Alcatraz circuit will be held this coming Saturday, June 8, in a unique setting, an event that since 1981 has challenged athletes with its tough swimming in the cold waters of San Francisco Bay.

In the male category, Javier Gomez Noya, is one of the favorites after his victory in the OTSO VI Half Gasteiz.

But we will have to take into account triathletes like Magnus ditlev, Sam long, possibly the fittest triathlete of the season, and Ben Kanute, four-time Escape from Alcatraz champion, as well as Alistair Brownlee y Marten Van Riel, among others.

In the women's category, with the inclusion of Marta Sanchez as a wild card and the last minute withdrawal of Anne Haug, the main battle will be between Ashleigh Gentle y Taylor Knibb. Gentle, winner in Singapore, and Knibb, demonstrating her form at IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside, are the main favorites, with Emma Pallant e India Lee also as serious contenders for the podium.
