The Women's Triathlon Preview at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
On July 31, 55 women will seek Olympic glory in the triathlon event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
It should be noted that the event may be postponed due to poor water quality, as has happened with the men's event, which will take place on the same day, the 31st.
Several athletes are considered favorites to win. Beth Potter of Great Britain, number one in the Olympic Ranking, is one of the main contenders.
But we will have to take into account triathletes like Flora Duffy , the champion in Tokyo 2020, and the Frenchwoman Cassandre Beaugrand , who arrives in great form for this event, after her recent victories in Cagliari and Hamburg.
The list of contenders also includes American Taylor Knibb , Georgia Taylor-Brown , German Lisa Tertsch, Emma Lombardi , and Leonie Periault, among others.
As for the Spanish team, we will have 2 representatives in this event: Miriam Casillas and Anna Godoy
