Women's preview of the triathlon test of the Tokyo Olympics
On Thursday, July 27 at 6.30am local time (23pm Spanish time), 30 women will start in Odaiba Bay to seek the glory of the Olympic Games.
The female event comes after the male, which was played yesterday, with the victory de Kristian Blummenfelt, in an exciting test marked by the swimming segment and the groups that were formed in cycling.
In tonight's competition, there are many triathletes with options and, like the men, the weather conditions will be decisive.
Temperatures close to 30º and a humidity that could reach 100% at some point in the test are expected.
Favorite
The big favorites for victory are the Bermudian Flora Duffy, Nicola Spirig, Summer Rapport, Taylor Knibb, Katie Zaferes o Georgia Taylor Brown
We will also have to take into account triathletes such as Jessica Learthmonth, Vicky Holland o Cassandre Beagrand among others.

Flora, who has only competed once in 2021, will try to get a medal as she has almost ruled out the Paris 2024 Games.
For the Swiss Spirig it will be her fifth Games and she will try to get her third medal after gold in London 2012 and silver in Rio 2016.
The competition will feature 2 Spanish triathletes, Miriam Casillas competing in his second games and Anna Godoy making his debut in the Olympics.

The test will begin in Spain on the night of July 26 and will end at dawn on July 27.
