The fourth edition of the Triathlon Cabo de Gata Níjar 2015 arrives

This weekend almost half a thousand triathletes will meet at the paradisiacal beaches of San José, in the Maritime-Terrestrial Park of Cabo de Gata-Níjar (Almería), to enjoy sports in a pure natural environment.

The fourth edition of the Mid Distance Triathlon Cabo de Gata-Níjar, one of those tests that like to run as a final touch to an entire season, both for the spectacular nature of its routes, and for the close treatment that the Organization provides to each and every one of the participants. As David Martínez points out, referring to the triathlon in the province of Almería, "it is a triathlon in which the members of the Organization have several triathletes with more than 15 seasons behind them, and that allows us to make a triathlon for and for triathletes".

This test organized by Almeritour Sport SL and CD What We Attack, has the support of the City of Níjar, the Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Níjar, the Andalusian Federation of Triathlon and many other sponsors such as Skechers and a large representation of local business . As David M. points out to us "the binomial of sport and tourism here is working. This test helps to revitalize the territory, since throughout the weekend the percentage of hotel and restaurant establishments in the area is close to 100% occupancy, so every year more and more businessmen join our project from the area that want to support us in making this triathlon grow and a greater number of people can get to know Cabo de Gata".

As for the list of participants, it should be noted that among the favorites to win this year are, in the female category, the presence of the Austrian Sylvia Gehnbök, winner in the 2014 edition and a wide international and national track record Elena Aguilar y Mabel Gallardo. In the men's category, we will have the full winners of last year Juansa Diaz, Diego Paredes and the local triathletes Rafa Lao, that they will have to fight with aspirants like the Australian Ben Webeck and the Murcian Juan Bastida

We hope everything goes well and the good weather that you usually do in this corner of Spain also accompany this weekend during the dispute of this triathlon, and enjoy a special test in this natural spot of San José in Níjar (Almería).

We are waiting for you all this weekend in Almeria!
