The Olympic qualification process will not begin earlier on March 15
The Olympic and Paralympic Classification rankings are frozen since March 2020,
The World Triathlon Executive Committee met this week via teleconference to discuss the Olympic and Paralympic Qualification.
Considering the current principles approved during this year, the Executive Committee has agreed not to start the qualification period before March 15, 2021, one year after its suspension in 2020.
The rankings Olympic and Paralympic Classification have been frozen since March 2020, when the pandemic began to impact the world. None of the events held since then are taken into account for the rankings.
