What is a DAR, High Performance Athlete?

They are those athletes with a license issued or approved by the Spanish sports federations, who meet any of the following conditions:

a) That they have been selected by the different Spanish sports federations, to rrepresent Spain in official international competitions in absolute category, in at least one of the last two years.

b) That they have been selected by the different Spanish sports federations, to represent Spain in international official competitions in age categories lower than absolute, in at least one of the last two years.

c) Let them be athletes qualified as high performance or equivalent by the autonomous communities, in accordance with its regulations.

The support measures derived from this condition will be extended for a maximum period of three years, which will start counting from the day following the date on which the autonomous community last publicized the status of high-performance athlete or equivalent of the interested.

d) What follow programs tutored by sports federations españolas in high performance centers recognized by the Higher Sports Council.

e) What follow technification programs supervised by the sports federationsSpanish s, iincluded in the National Technification Program sports developed by the Higher Sports Council.

f) That technification programs supervised by the Spanish sports federations continue.

g) That they follow programs supervised by the autonomous communities or autonomous sports federations, in the Technification Centers recognized by the Higher Sports Council.

Athletes who meet the requirements defined in sections a), b), d) e) and f), through their Spanish Sports Federations, can request a certificate proving said condition to the Higher Sports Council, and athletes who meet the requirements defined in sections c) and g) to the competent bodies in the Autonomous Communities.

In relation to the set of support measures included in the royal decree of high-level and high-performance athletes, high-performance athletes can only benefit from measures related to educational measures art 9. RD971-2007.
