Ramón Ejeda fifth in the Premium Cup of Asia
Ramón Ejeda has concluded his participation in the Asian Premium Triathlon Cup in an outstanding fifth place. The competition was held in the Chinese district of Sanshui, located in the Province of Canton.
The swimming sector consisted of two laps to complete the regulatory 1.5 km. Then, they made six cycling laps to complete the corresponding 40 km, by a flat circuit composed of some very technical turns. Finally they made three laps (10 km in total) of running on a stretch of asphalt, very flat.
Ejeda remained in the first positions during all the contest, standing out especially in the last stretch of the competition. The Spaniard made a brilliant run on foot in which he obtained the fourth best partial, which prompted him to a prominent fifth place final.
The triumph was for the local triathlete Yiming_Zhang. The Chinese was accompanied on the podium by the Australian Shane Farrant and the Italian Alberto Casadei; second and third respectively.
While in the women's category the victory went to Radka Vodickova. The Czech was followed by the Chinese Lingxi Xin and Dan Fan.
