Laura Gómez and Pello Osoro win the 2024 National Middle and Long Distance Triathlon Ranking
The latest update of 2024 National Middle and Long Distance Triathlon Ranking, after the dispute of all the tests of the calendar, presents as winners Laura Gomez y Pello Osoro in the female and male categories, respectively.
A total of twenty events held throughout the year have created this prestigious ranking that crowns the best triathletes in the country and distributes a financial endowment of 10.000 Euros among the top five in each category.
Women's Results: Gomez Leads with Authority
Laura Gomez, independent triathlete, rises as champion of the National Women's Ranking thanks to her outstanding performances in key competitions such as the Spanish MD Triathlon Championship in Pamplona, the MD Triathlon Spanish Cup in Ibiza T100 and HOMBRE DE HIERRO 70.3 Valencia.
With a total of 4.925 pointsThe Catalan has demonstrated outstanding consistency and performance throughout the season, placing herself as the best middle and long distance triathlete in Spain.
In second place in the women's ranking is steffie lebenezic, of the team Penota Dental Alusigma, who has added important points thanks to his third place in the Bilbao Triathlon already its good results in the Ibiza T100 and Spanish LD Triathlon Championship at the Epic Triathlon in Oropesa del Mar.
The women's podium is completed by Judith Corachán, from the ANB Triathlon Team, with a total of 3.925 points, highlighting his victory in the epic triathlon and her performance as the best Spanish in the IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia.

Men's Ranking: Pello Osoro at the Top
In the male category, Pello Osoro, from the Penota Dental Alusigma, has managed to win the title of champion of National Ranking of Medium and Long Distance Triathlon with a total of 4.066 points.
His third position in the MD Triathlon Spanish Cup in Ibiza T100, his victory in Bilbao y Santander, and his sixth place in the Spanish MD Triathlon Championship in Pamplona have been decisive in reaching the first position.
Guillem Montiel, from the ANB Triathlon Team, who led the ranking for a good part of the calendar, has finished in second position with 3.850 points thanks to his second place in the Spanish Championship in Pamplona and his victories in triXilxes y Challenge Salou.
The third position has been for Fernando Zorrilla, from the Stadium Casablanca Mapei, with 3.781 points, highlighting his title of Spanish champion in Pamplona.
Among the top ten we also find Gonzalo Fuentes, Penota Dental Alusigma, in fourth place with 3.761 pointsAs Diego Mentrida, also from Penota Dental Alusigma, in fifth position with 3.631 points, after his outstanding performances in Ibiza T100 and the Half Triathlon Madrid.

The scoring system has been based on the three best results of each triathlete throughout the season, which has allowed us to see great performances in events such as the Zarauzko Triatloia, epic triathlon in Oropesa del Mar, and the IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia.
The economic endowment of 10.000 Euros The prize money has been distributed among the top five in each category, recognising the effort and dedication of the athletes who have managed to place themselves in the Top 5.
