Roger Roca, Victor del Corral and Ana Burgos dispute this weekend the Duathlon World Championship in Nancy
This weekend the 2012 Duathlon World Championship will be held in the French city of Nancy. The test consists of 10 km of running race followed by 40 km of bicycle, ending with a last sector of walking race of 5 km.
Last year Roger Roca was proclaimed champion followed by Victor del Corral and Frenchman Benoit Nicolas
For this edition in the men's category the Spaniards Roger Roca and Victor del Corral will try to reach the top of the podium although the Frenchman Benoit Nicolas will be difficult.
In the female category, the German Jenny Schulz and the French Sandra Levenez who shared the podium last year start as favorites. The Spanish Ana Burgos will try to make a place for herself among the top places in the world championship.
The rest of the Spanish participation will be made up in the female category by Anna Robira, Inmaculada Pereiro, Pilar Arias, Lucia Perez and in the male category by Sergi Rodríguez Batista, Gustavo Rodríguez, Emilio Martin, and Sergio Lorenzo.
The start of the women's race will be at the 14: 00 local time and the male start at 17: 00 h.
