The warrior is not characterized by fighting easy battles. Nor for walking simple paths. The philosophy of the warrior is to fight against everything. Rubén Ruzafa (3: 51'58 '') has beaten the adversities to win the XTERRA Axarquía - Costa del Sol 2015, first round XTERRA Spain Tour Extremadura 2015. Gonzalo David Orozco Bernal (3: 58'26 '') and Juan Carlos Nieto García (4: 05'28 '') have accompanied him on the podium. Natividad Gómez has dominated from start to finish in the female category. Both are placed as the first leaders of the XTERRA Spain Tour Extremadura 2015.

The brothers Raso, Bruno and Victoriano, were the first to arrive at the T1. Both have broken the swim segment with an excellent collaboration that has allowed them to distance Rubén Ruzafa and Ignacio Campos Martín in almost two minutes before the start of the MTB segment. The youngest of the brothers, Bruno, has not had any luck, and after five kilometers of the cycling sector he has had to leave due to a puncture. Something similar has happened to Ruzafa, who has punctured on two occasions.

In the first kilometers of BTT Ruzafa has taken the lead. Before arriving at the T2 it has returned to puncture, although in this occasion it has not been able to fix the fault and has had to realize the last 8 kilometers on the rim. Despite this, he has managed to distance himself from his pursuers in up to ten minutes at the end of the cycling segment. Orozco and Nieto have maintained an interesting fight for the second position that the Cadiz has achieved in the end. The pieces have not moved in the race on foot. Ruzafa, the big favorite since the starting gun, has crossed the goal arch wrapped in the love of 'his' people.

Natividad Gómez has been very strong and strong in the female category. "The bike was spectacular, very hard. I think it has been one of the toughest bikes I have seen on any mountain bike circuit, without a doubt the most demanding of the XTERRA Spain Tour. The bike has been very hard, I have noticed the hardness of the route in the last port ", has explained the runner of the Tricam Villaviciosa.

Malaga domain

Javier Iglesias (1: 43'07 '') has fulfilled the forecasts and has dominated with solvency in the open test. Malaga has left the water in first position, a position that has not abandoned in the entire test. statements

Rubén Ruzafa: "Great, it's been a very cool day with a lot of people and many spectators. People have loved the day and the organization, so I value it very positively. In swimming I know that I still do not have the level of the Raso brothers, I knew that they were going to put me time. The truth is that they have done very well. I came out third and it was a very good position. I have punctured three kilometers to leave the transition and I had to repair. I still had not caught my head and I lost a little time. Then I took the head, I took it easy, it was a long race and then I tried to get as much time as possible. In the descent of 'La Cucaracha' I punctured the rear wheel and I thought about retiring, although I really wanted to finish and I fought until the transition. In the end I started running with 6-7 minutes and I managed to get to the finish line. Running at home is special, it asks you to spend much more time with people. I'm very excited to see people I've known for a long time. "

Nati Gómez: "The cold, cold water, but with a spectacular environment, the water looked like a pool! I felt strong, because I was the first girl to get out of the water. The bike was spectacular, very hard. I think it has been one of the toughest bikes I have seen on any mountain bike circuit, without a doubt the most demanding of the XTERRA Spain Tour. The bike has been very hard, I have noticed the hardness of the route in the last port. The descents have been amazing. Undoubtedly, a circuit that is worth doing. It gathers all the XTERRA features: demand, environment ... In the race on foot I suffered a lot because the temperatures have been very high and the bike takes its toll. I took more than I thought, although I could go more relaxed since I had the rivals far behind ".
