Sean Conway surpasses the 'Iron Cowboy' with 102 Ironman in 102 days
Sean Conway has accomplished an incredible feat by complete 102 Ironman in 102 days, setting a new world record and surpassing the previous record set by American triathlete James 'Iron Cowboy' Lawrence in 2021.
Conway's daily routine
The daily routine of Conway started around 5am at a leisure center in Mold, Wales
Each day ended around 7pm, leaving just enough time for physical therapy, family time with his wife Caroline and their two children, and sleep. Before, of course, repeating everything the next day.
To accomplish this feat of human endurance, Sean he required considerable energy fuel, consuming between 6000 and 8000 calories per day, where he ate Welsh cakes, biltong, bananas, tons of pasta, etc.
Day 103: Well well well….. We meet again 😅 Yeup, here I am! You didn't think I was going to stop at 102 did you? That said, today's going to be an interesting one – first day I'm doing where I don't "technically" have to be here… Let's see what happens. pic.twitter.com/kn3L9rsBIG

“It has been the hardest 3 months of my life”
Sean I commented: "They have been, by far, the hardest three months of my life. I wouldn't wish what I've been through on my worst enemy, but I'm very proud of what the team and I have accomplished.".
The best time to Sean it's been the community of swimmers, bikers and runners who came out day in and day out, no matter the weather, to support him.
"I hope to inspire a new generation of ultra-endurance athletes. I couldn't have done it without my dedicated support team and the incredible community support that followed the challenge on the road and online. You kept me going and I can't thank you enough.".
