La World Cup in Brasilia has put an end to the World Triathlon World Cup circuit this year.

The test held in Brasilia has been an excellent way to close the season for Spanish triathlon where the Murcian Sergio Baxter He climbed onto the podium, winning a valuable bronze medal after a frenetic finish.

The victory went to the local favorite, the Brazilian Manoel Messias, who took victory with a 35-second lead over the Australian Callum McClusky, who kept the money.

In a tight sprint, Baxter managed to secure third place, leaving the Brazilian Miguel Hidalgo off the podium.

The other Spanish in the test, Igor Bellido, finished in 27th place.

The women's victory went to the Mexican Rosa Maria Tapia, who crossed the finish line 20 seconds ahead of the Frenchwoman Sandra Dodet.

The American Tamara Gorman completed the podium, followed by two renowned triathletes from the WTS circuit: Summer Rappaport y Verena Steinhauser, who rounded out the TOP-5 positions.
