Sergio Baxter fourth in the Karlovy Vary Triathlon World Cup.

The Murcian triathlete Sergio Baxter has once again delivered a coup of authority in an international event, finishing fourth in the Triathlon World Cup which was held today in the Czech city of Karlovy Vary.

A competition in which Baxter was climbing positions after a swim in which he found a good feeling in the first lap, lagging a little behind in the second lap of the swimming sector.

In the cycling sector, Sergio worked hard to hook the chasing group that was reducing the distance with the four escapees in the lead.

After 7 laps on the bike, with a very tough circuit, Baxter was little by little recovering sensations in the race on foot, going from less to more and climbing positions, giving everything in the last kilometer that led him to stay at the gates of the podium, with a fourth position that tastes like a medal.

The victory has been for the German Lasse Nygaard with a time of 1: 53: 31 followed by Grant Sheldon and by csongor Lehmann in third position
