Distances and Competition Format

The individual competitions will be held over standard Olympic distances: a 1,5 km swimming segment, followed by a 40 km cycling course and culminating with a 10 km run.

In the case of the mixed relay event, the format will be a super sprint, where each of the four members of the team (alternating between men and women) will complete 300 m of swimming, 5,8 km of cycling and 1,8 km of foot race before handing over to the next competitor.
