In The redeemed and the dominant we can see the rise to the podium of Mat Fraser and Tia-Claire Toomey, the winners of the CrossFit Games in its edition of 2017.

A close documentary that, in addition to showing us how a competition of this caliber from within, also shows us the first case of doping that affected the podium of a CrossFit Games: the Australian Ricky Garard.

Icarus

Endorsed by an Oscar for the best documentary and another prize for the best political documentary at the Sundance festival, Icarus moves around the doping scandal in the Russian sport that started already in 1968.

Although the documentary was born with the intention of publicizing the problem of doping in sports in general, when the director of the same began to collaborate with Grigori Rodchenkov, former director of the Russian anti-doping laboratory, he discovered a doping plot that had been animated from the Russian government for decades.

The trail of the conquerors

The path of the conquerors was the 2016 challenge carried out by ultra-long distance runner Andrés Lledó, who crossed Costa Rica from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic coast in eight days. In total about 400 kilometers on foot through a country where he was able to experience the concept of "pura vida" of the Costa Ricans.
