All those users who use this type of device will be using another third-party application that allows synchronization with Strava.

The brand says that GPS or Smartwatch devices will not be affected. Only, cadence sensors, power o heart rate meters among others.

Strava statement:

"As of October 28 from 2019, the Bluetooth and ANT + sensors will no longer pair directly with the Strava mobile app.

This means that, for example, if you register activities using the Strava application, you will not be able to register your heart rate or other Bluetooth sensor data.

The support of Bluetooth devices was causing the application to crash during recording, whether or not a sensor was connected.
