The T100 confirms its first renovations for 2025

The professional triathlon scene continues to grow strongly. The PTO (Professional Triathletes Organization) has already given the starting signal for the next season of the T100 Triathlon World Tour 2025 by announcing the first names that have signed contracts.

These athletes, after earning their place with outstanding results in the 2024 season, are back with renewed hopes of competing in the middle distance elite.

Bringing together the top 100 male and female triathletes in 2024, the T20 Triathlon World Tour has proven to be an ideal stage for the sport's biggest names to regularly collide.

Last season, iconic cities such as Singapore, San Francisco, London, Ibiza, Lake Las Vegas and Dubai were visited.

Now, looking ahead to 2025, the organization is presenting an initial list of athletes who have already secured their participation and aims to consolidate the circuit as an international reference.

Top-level athletes renew their commitment

The list of triathletes who have already signed for 2025 includes big names.

Among the women, those who finished in the top ten last year stand out: Taylor Knibb (USA), Ashleigh Gentle (AUS), Julie Derron (SUI), Flora Duffy (BER), Lucy byram (GBR), India Lee (GBR), Imogen Simmonds (SUI) and Paula Findlay (DOG).

In the men's category, the champion Marten Van Riel (BEL) leads the list of confirmed players. Along with him, there are Kyle Smith (NZL), Rich Bogen (GER), Sam long (USA), Mathis Magirier (FRA), Pieter Heemeryck (BEL), Youri Keulen (NED) and Fred Funk (GER).

Taylor Knibb and Marten Van Riel in the lead

Both Taylor Knibb and Marten Van Riel, T100 champions in 2024, lead the list of renewals.

Knibb, who chained together an impeccable series of victories and closed the season by winning the HOMBRE DE HIERRO 70.3 World Championship in Taupō, New Zealand, he highlighted his enthusiasm for continuing to compete in this environment.

For Knibb, the T100 is a showcase that pushes the level of women's triathlon, bringing together the best figures more frequently throughout the year.

Van Riel, for his part, expressed his motivation to compete against the best rivals on a regular basis. He believes that the T100 has allowed a leap in quality in the organisation, media coverage and the advantages offered to professionals: technical assistance, mechanics, recovery and an environment that combines elite races with amateur tests.

According to the Belgian, this environment improves the experience for both those competing and those following the events as spectators.

New stops and challenges for 2025

The 2024 edition set the bar very high, with spectacular venues and memorable championship finals, such as the Dubai event.

Looking ahead to 2025, the organization has already confirmed some venues and promises to add more in the coming days.

The start will be in Singapore, on April 5-6. Afterwards, the T100 Triathlon will travel to the French Riviera , adding a new European reference destination.

The next stops will again include some of the iconic locations that worked well last year, such as San Francisco, London, Ibiza, Las Vegas y Dubai.

The PTO will announce the rest of the races and triathletes with contracts early next year, adding more names and destinations to a calendar which promises to leave no one indifferent.
