Tamara Gómez returns to the competition in the classic Duathlon Cross Villa de la Roda

The Valencian triathlete has been away from the competition for more than three years due to different injuries.

At the end of February of 2016 in full preparation of the Olympic Games Tamara Gómez announced that he was suffering rupture of a vertebra,  injury that forced him to stop for a few months, preventing him from finally competing throughout the season. Later in the following two years he had some vascular lesions in both legs who forced him to go through the operating room twice.

Make a few weeks, announced that had started to run and the great news is that will return to the competition next November 11 in the X edition of the Cros de la Roda Duathlon, a test organized by the Rodense Triathlon Team, where David Castro He is your main triathlete. Each year this test puts the end of the season to many Spanish international triathletes, as it is normal to see many "Team Blume" athletes compete in this La Roda party invited by David and the EQTR.

The test consists of 4 kilometers of running, 15k of BTT and 2 kilometers of race where will be presented David Castro and most of the "Team Blume" triathletes who, in addition to the final podium, will fight for the flying goal of Miguelitos (typical Rodenses sweets) that takes the first one in the 500 competition meter.

There is also the option to compete in relays, where it will Tamara Gomez who will do the cycling segment and will share equipment with Jose Antonio Bodoque, his physiotherapist all these years and who has treated him in the rehabilitation of the injuries.

Tamara y Bodoque they will have a beautiful match against the team formed by Sara Guerrero (silver medal in the Spanish championship Sprint sub23 2018) and Jairo Ruiz (bronze medal in the Paralympic Games of Rio)
