Taylor Knibb sweeps the IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside

After the male test where Jackson Laundry has taken the victory in an exciting event, in the women's event all eyes were on Daniela Ryf and Taylor Knibb.

From the first moment the Swiss did not have her day since she came out with almost 2 minutes of the water compared to Knibb and Pamela Oliveria and Lauraen Brandon who were the first to come out of the water.

In the cycling segment, the North American left alone, reaching T2 with almost 3 minutes ahead of Holly Lawrence and Luisa Baptista. Ryf at this point passed at 5:51.

In the 21 kilometer run Taylor Knibb he knew how to maintain his advantage to achieve victory in a time of 4:06:32

The second classified has been Luisa Baptista (4: 08: 45) and third Holly Lawrence (4: 09: 17).

Daniela Ryf entered in 10th position almost 16 minutes from Taylor Knibb.

The North American has shown to have a great performance also in this distance. We remember that she was second in the 2021 ITU World Cup and a silver medal in Tokyo 2020 in the mixed relay category.
