All prepared for Pure Triathlon in Marina d'Or

700 triatetas will take part in this Saturday's events

A few hours to start the test chrono, Pure Triathlon has been officially presented this Thursday at the Marina d'Or facilities nerve center of the two competitions, a long distance and a 'half', that will be celebrated next Saturday.

The presentation ceremony has confirmed the enormous impact that Pure Triathlon has caused both at sport level, with 700 registered, and socially, since it is estimated that the competition will mobilize around 3.000 people this weekend in Castellón and its region.

The mayor of Deportes de Oropesa del Mar, Sonia Bellés, the Deputy of Sports of the Diputación de Castellón, Luis Martínez, the Events Director of Marina d'Or, José Carbonell, and the technical director of the event, Fermín Egido, have been responsible for making the presentation of the test, which has been attended by several participating triathletes.

Carbonell has been happy to host a "different triathlon" in Marina d'Or and has stated that it is one of the "most spectacular events at an organizational level". Accounts have been held at the Castellón facilities throughout its history .

Bellés has ensured that Oropesa del Mar has provided "all the necessary support" to the Pure Triathlon organization because it understands that tests of this magnitude help to "seasonalize" sports activities in the area. The councilor has indicated that it is a "pride" for your locality to take evidence of this sporting and social level and has guaranteed its support for future editions.

Luis Martínez, for his part, has confessed that it was easy for the County Council to accept the organization's proposal because the spirit of the test "is in line" with what it intends to promote from the provincial institution. "This competition represents an ideal model between tourism and sport, also carried out by a private company and public institutions in perfect harmony", added the deputy, who did not forget the "energizing impact" that Pure Triathlon will have on the economy from the Castellón region. Martínez was "convinced" of the sporting and organizational success of the event and ventured to announce a second edition of the triathlon for 2016.

Fermín Egido thanked the support of the Castellón administrations for a project that he defined with the word "illusion" and explained that he tried to make a test "to the taste of the participating athletes". "How would your star test be?" Asked the managing director of White Go For It to the athletes. Egido also recalled the enormous burden of "commitment" of Pure Triathlon with people and nonprofit organizations that struggle to help other people, and noted that Castellón has a "brutal potential" to become a benchmark of sports tourism,

The event was also attended by several illustrious triathletes, such as Ramón Ejeda, who will play his first long distance triathlon seduced by the route and the presence of other high level athletes. The Portuguese José Esrangeiro, Iván Álvarez, recently arrived from the Hawaii World Cup, José Almagro, who will compete in the 'half', and the charismatic Valentí San Juan They have also acknowledged being "surprised" by the magnitude of the event. All of them sense an "enormous suffering" in their respective tests, although they accept the motivated challenge seduced by the magic of a "different triathlon".
