"Toroman" the Spanish Ultraman with a new sector of BTT

10.000 meters of swimming, 107 km of BTT, 285 km of cycling and 84 km of running distance is the distance that will have to travel the "crazy" who participate in the test of ultra-distance Toroman.

 

 

October 14, 15 and 16, 2016 has been the date chosen for the celebration of this first edition of the Toroman where only 50 triathletes can participate.

Toroman is an extreme triathlon with ultraman distance. it is a test consisting of 3 days, on the first day there are 10km of swimming and 107km of mountain biking, on the second day 285km is covered by road bike and on the third day 84km is covered from race to race.

Swimming

The distance to be covered by the triathletes will be 10.000 meters, making 10 laps of the marked circuit for said event, in the "Las Graveras" park, located in the town of San José de la Rinconada. Participants will have a maximum time of 6 hours.

MTB

107 Circuit Km of tracks and trails with a positive slope of 1500 meters crossing part of the Vega del Guadalquivir (Seville). The end time of the swim segment plus MTB will be 12 maximum hours

Cycling

Long and demanding cycling stage with a distance to travel of 285 km with a difference of 2.500 positive meters approx. through the Sierra Norte de Sevilla and the Vega del Guadalquivir. The start and finish of said test will be in the town hall square of the town of La Rinconada. This test will have a maximum time limit of 12 hours to complete it.

Foot Race

The race on foot will have departure and arrival in the plaza of the town hall of La Rinconada. It will consist of 84 km along roads and paths, where some areas will be technical. The duration of this test will have a maximum limit of 12 hours.

 

In order to participate in the event, any athlete wishing to participate must have at least proof of having completed an Ironman or similar long distance test, the same year or the previous year.
