Triaroc 2017 already has a date

The 27 and 28 of May of 2017 is the date chosen for a new edition of the Triaroc.

The month of May of 2017 will celebrate the third edition of the Triaroc, in the Regional Park of the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares (Madrid), where the medium distance race, an Olympic triathlon and a cros triathlon will be played.

The Olympic distance test and the cros triathlon will be held on Sunday May 28, while the queen test, the medium distance test will do it on Saturday 27. The start and finish of both tests will be in the Madrid town of Manzanares el Real .

In this edition will be offered again well defined, safe and respecting the philosophy of No Drafting. For this, the limitation of 450 participants established last year and that was satisfactory for all is maintained.

As a significant change, this year it should be noted that the days between the Olympic and the Middle Distance are exchanged to avoid coinciding with other calendar events without affecting the event too much. This is due to the fact that the triathlon world championship is held in Madrid the same weekend.

"We apologize to all those who are affected this year by the coincidence of a test of the changing ITU calendar with the triathlon of Manzanares El Real.

The limitation of both the calendar within the autonomous community itself, as well as the municipal calendar, since it is a town with a high cultural and sporting activity, forces us to have no other options for holding the event, apart from that we consider that in these dates there are enough guarantees regarding temperature, level of the reservoir, etc.. "
