Marina Damlaimcourt wins the Oliva Triathlon

He has achieved victory in his return after the operation.

 

 

On the morning of Sunday, the 26 edition of the Olive triathlon where the Olympic triathlete Marina Damlaimcourt got the victory with a final 2 time: 13: 50 followed by Anais Tommy and Eliana Krist Sotelo.

 

The former champion of Spain and several times among the Top10 of Europe, Marina Damlaimcourt, has made a spectacular partial in the section of 1.500 meters of swimming with a record of 21 minutes and 28 seconds, lowering the male category crunch that has led in swimming David Molina with 21 minutes and 49 seconds.

 

In addition, in the first part of the 43 kilometer circuit Marina has continued to lead the test with a stratospheric time at the top of Coll de l'Elca of 39 minutes 57 seconds, compared to the 40 minutes 19 seconds of Carlos Gericó, which has happened to head the masculine test in front of Fernando Martinez and Alberto Bravo.

 

Damlaimcourt, began to pay the effort on the bicycle, but maintained the distances with their pursuers. In line of goal he explained that his strong one is the ascents and that "to have participated in World Championships gives you a very strong rhythm in swimming". And although he arrived just from training he said he enjoyed the trip, congratulated the organization and advanced that he will return in future editions.

 

In the male category The winner was Fernando Martínez with a final time of 2: 08: 48 followed in second position by Sergio Juan (2:09:49) and David Navarro (2: 10: 35) occupying the third final position.
