Alberto Casillas and Elena Aguilar win the Sierra Nevada Long Triathlon

The strong gusts of wind in the race (65-70km / h) have given a point of strength to this triathlon.

 

 

Alberto Casillas has won with a time of 5:44:39, followed by Street Frames to more than 15 minutes and and surpassed in almost fifteen minutes and in third position of Manuel Olmedo more than 26. In the female category Elena Aguilar outnumbered more than 42 minutes to second place, Sonia Ortiz,already  Inmaculada Ruz that ended in 3º position.

 

Alberto Casillas with this victory has managed to win consecutively in the three last editions of the Sierra Nevada Long Triathlon, considered the toughest in the world in its distance.

 

Alberto who comes from winning the World Ball (Madrid) and has as its next objective the triathlon of Alpe d'Huez

 

In statements to the newspaper Ideal Alberto commented: "It has been a stupid one. There have been times when it was difficult to keep your balance and it did not matter if you were running because the wind prevented you from moving forward. Today it has been the toughest triathlon in the world"

 

Elena Aguilar, commented after the race. "Almost always it has been wind of side or against; It has been hard, hard, hard"

In the short version of the Malaga triathlon Alex Cañas and the Swedish Julia Swede They got the victory.
