AD Tri-Penta Terras de Lugo and Triathlon Claveria Spanish Triathlon Champions by Relays

Canet de Berenguer has become the stage for one of the most spectacular competitions on the calendar of the Spanish Triathlon Federation.

 

 

This time, the  AD Tri-Penta Terras de Lugo in male category and the Triathlon Clavería de Móstoles in the female category they have been proclaimed Spanish Triathlon Champions by Relays in the elite competition.

 

The competition was developed in superprint distance with a first segment 300 m of swimming with the exit on the beach of Canet, followed by 8 km of cycling. Finally, they disputed 2 km of race on foot.

 

As in the previous session, the first to take the exit to the 9 in the morning were the participants in the School Age category. In the men's event, the Trimarbella Bike-Aquarena boys prevailed over the rest. While the triathletes of the CT Diablillos de Rivas and the representatives of Tragaleguas.org shared the remaining places on the podium; entering second and third respectively.

 

In females, the Saltoki Trikideak girls achieved victory. Along with them, the CT Las Rozas and the Triathlon Consulta Sergio Saiz achieved the silver and bronze medals.

 

In the women's open category, the girls of the Triathlon Club Devils of Rivas achieved the victory. While the Tri-Val Triathlon Valdemoro Club members won the silver medal and the Atalanta CD triathletes climbed to the third step of the podium. In the men's category, the boys from the local team, the Berenguer Tricanet, were on top of the podium. Followed in second place by the members of the Diablillos de Rivas and in third place, the triathletes of ADSevilla Bikila.

 

In elite category Sara Bonilla, Eva Morales and Sara Regidor Claveria Triathlon Móstoles stood with the victory in a disputed competition, which had to deal with very strong rivals in a test that made us vibrate until the end. The triathletes of the club of Móstoles completed the test with a final time of 1: 29: 52.

On the other hand, the components of the Fasttriathlon (Anna Flaquer, Nuria Pubill and Sara Loehr) obtained the second position of the classification. While the representatives of CT Diablillos de Rivas, Ana Mariblanca, Esther Barquero and Paula García signed the bronze medal.

 

While AD Tri-Penta Terras de Lugo made a double after the victory of the previous day, and won today the title of elite champions of Spain. A dreamed debut for the Galician team, which had a very strong team, which stood out from the first relay, with an impressive Fernando Alarza, who after an impressive first relay gave the baton to his teammate Antonio Serrat with a good income, which Serrat would maintain with a high level in the race to pass the turn to a Nan Oliveras who crossed the finish line with a 24-second advantage.

 

From behind, and after a very tight final sprint, the Fasttriathlon Club achieved the runner-up position with a team formed by Isaac López, Jordi García and Pau Castelvell. While the guys from Arcade Inforhouse Santiago represented by Antón Ruanova, Diego Paz and Rui Felipe Nunes Tenrinho took third place on the podium.
