Zarautz Triathlon 2025. Date confirmed and pre-registration process
Zarautz Triathlon Association, the club organizing the event, has announced that a new edition of the event will be held on June 14, 2025. TradeInn Zarautz Triathlon, one of the most iconic triathlons in Spain.
The event, which for the second consecutive year has the support of TradeInn As the main sponsor, it promises once again to bring together the best triathletes in a spectacular setting.
Key Dates for Registration
The organization has also confirmed the dates and the registration process for those interested in obtaining one of the coveted race numbers.
Pre-registration will begin on Friday November 8 and the November 17th, with a symbolic cost of 3 euros.
During this period all applications will be collected, which will then be submitted to an official draw on November 19th, in which the order number will be assigned that will determine the 650 bibs available.
The lucky ones who are selected in the draw will be able to formalize their registration between November 25 and December 1.
The “Mecca” of Triathlon in Spain
El TradeInn Zarautz Triathlon, founded in 1987, is considered by many to be the “mecca” of triathlon at the national level.
This event is not only notable for the difficulty of its routes, but also for the unique landscape and the passion of the local public, which turns each edition into a true sporting festival.
Every year, more than 2.500 triathletes try to get one of the 650 places available, which reflects the popularity and prestige of the event.
Participants will be able to enjoy the 3.000 meters of swimming on a journey between Getaria and Zarautz, followed by a challenging cycling circuit that includes the epic Wall of San Blas, and a final half marathon through the town of Zarauz, which usually carries triathletes on their shoulders thanks to the warmth of the public.
