triXilxes celebrates its 10th anniversary
triXilxes will celebrate its 10th anniversary on May 11, 2025, consolidating itself as one of the most anticipated events in the province of Castellón.
The test, organized by the Club Trilavall, will maintain its non-drafting format, making it a very attractive competition for both triathletes and spectators.
triXilxes #sindrafting: A Challenge on the Sea and the Road
The triXilxes 2025 will take place over the same traditional distances that have characterised this event: 1.500 meters of swimming in one turn, 60 kilometers of cycling without drafting in two turns, and 15 kilometers of foot race in two laps plus a final link. All with the finish line next to the sea, on the charming beach of Xilxes.
The format without drafting ensures that the competition is fair and that each triathlete depends exclusively on his or her own performance, without benefiting from being on the wheel of another competitor.
Sports and Family Festival
El Club Trilavall is preparing a special edition to mark its tenth anniversary. Throughout the weekend, Xilxes will offer a wide variety of activities for all audiences, ensuring that the triathletes' companions also enjoy the experience.
There will be recreational activities for both children and adults, making triXilxes a family celebration that goes beyond competition.
In the 2024 edition, more than 2.000 people attended the event, including athletes and companions.
This year, the number is expected to increase significantly, contributing to the development of tourism in the region and benefiting the local community.
An Elite Cartel
The triXilxes has stood out over the years for having a luxury poster in its PRO category, both male and female.
In the 2023 and 2024 editions, Marta Sanchez y Guillem Montiel They were the main protagonists by winning on both occasions, consolidating themselves as leaders in the competition.
In addition, other prominent names such as Sara Perez, Anna Noguera, Judith Corachán, Noelia Juan, Ramón Ejeda, Emilio Aguayo y Roberto Sánchez Mantecón have competed in Xilxes, raising the level of the event and attracting the attention of the public.
